For 26 years Frances has been assisting her clients in creating an optimal relationship with their body, mind and heart. She uses sound methods of bodywork and movement re-education to help clients identify and release inefficient movement habits, increase body awareness, heal and prevent injuries, release chronic muscle tension, improve muscular co-ordination and posture, and reduce stress.  Her private sessions provide clients with a safe and enjoyable environment to connect deeply with themselves, optimizing health and quality of life.

Frances’s profession in movement re-education and bodywork draws on extensive experience in dance, healing arts and somatic bodywork practices. She trained directly from occupational therapist Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, Medical Doctor Milton Trager, and many other pioneers in the field of Somatic Movement Education and Therapy.

With thousands of hours of training in her field, Frances has a large toolbox designed to restore and help her clients move and feel well, healthy and dynamic.

Pamela Howard is the Clinic Director of Invoke Community Acupuncture in Richmond, VA. In 2007, she was accepted to the Master’s Program in Acupuncture at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She graduated in June 2011 and received an acupuncture license in Maryland as she began undertaking the three National Board Certification Exams, which are required by many states, including Virginia.

Invoke Community Acupuncture is a member of the People’s Organization of Community Acupuncture, which is a multi-stakeholder co-operative. (Learn about their mission.)  A hallmark of a co-op is community support. Invoke Community Acupuncture is supported completely through its clients in the local community, and the clinic receives no grants or government assistance. Clients regularly travel from as far away as Virginia Beach and Fredericksburg to get treatment, and some members of POCA from cities such as Nashville and Denver have visited Invoke to receive treatments while away from their home clinic.

It is Pam’s mission to educate and inspire people to find their own unique, healthy and happy self and live their lives to the fullest.  Food plays an integral part in this as it can change everything from your mood, sleep, energy level, to your sex life and even how quickly you age.  Her passion is cooking and eating good, whole, real food and sharing this passion with my clients.  She works primarily with women and their hormone-energy issues.

Pam has a degree in Organizational Behavior from University of San Francisco and 20+ years experience in a corporate environment coaching and counseling people from CEO’s to hourly workers.  She studied nutrition and diet theories at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and am a Reiki practitioner.  Pam has spent many years working with food – growing it, preparing and cooking it, and, the best part, eating it.  There isn’t one diet that fits every person so she passionate about guiding her clients to find the food and lifestyle choices that best support them.

The dental practice of Dr. Cheryl Billingsley stresses whole body, healthy philosophy using biocompatible  materials and as non-invasive means of treatment as possible. For instance, you may have an allergy to a metal and not realize this until you react to the material in your mouth.  Your gums will be continuously inflamed and no amount of cleaning or medications will aid in resolving this. Testing is usually needed to see what materials are biocompatible with your body. Her office also does not use any amalgam fillings containing mercury. We are proud to be “mercury free” and practice safe holistic dentistry.

Dr. Billingsley believes strongly in continuing education and has achieved her accreditation with the International Academy of Oral Medical Toxicology and the prestigious Mastership Award from the Academy of General Dentistry that meets the requirements of the most rigorous training in the dental profession. Suzanne graduated with a BS degree in Life Sciences and Chemistry. She was a science/math teacher for thirty five years. In 2008, Suzanne retired from teaching and earned a certificate as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Health Coach. She taught classes in Wellness and Holistic Health at The Shepherd Center Open University and coached individual clients.

As a Holistic Health Practitioner, Suzanne  focuses on the importance of considering the whole person and the whole situation.
