Did you know that even the thoughts we choose can influence the presence of healthy versus unhealthy gut bacteria?

Leaky Gut Syndrome and Microbiome Medicine have gained a lot of attention in recent years. We are learning more and more how our gut health is a root cause for autoimmune disorders. Current statistics even state that nearly one in seven Americans suffers from at least one autoimmune disease, leaving many surprised to learn that their gut health needs to be repaired, even when there is an absence of “obvious” gut symptoms.

During this focused lecture presented by Terri McDowell, OTR/L, you will gain a greater understanding of:

  • How Leaky Gut Syndrome and Autoimmune Disease originate
  • What an autoimmune disorder is and what causes the body to start attacking itself
  • Lifestyle changes and specific strategies you can use to immediately start healing your gut and support your immune system
  • Upstream thinking used in Functional Medicine that can aid your body’s ability to repair itself

Terri will also provide you with a detailed handout to use on your journey to excellent gut health!
