Monday, April 10th / 6:30 to 7:30pm in The Beet
Join us in support of the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) as we talk about Real Food and what it means to your personal health as well as the future health of our planet. The OCA is a grassroots non-profit advocating for a more just, healthful, and sustainable food system. They have more than 850,000 worldwide supporters and recently launched two campaigns called #ConsumerRevolution and #PoliticalRevolution to rally citizens to act with their wallets and their vote.
Topics that will be discussed:
- What the term Real Food means and how it’s similar or different to terms like organic and sustainable.
- Regeneration: Another term to learn? Yes!
- Why soil and your gut matter above all else.
- How you can make a difference as a consumer, for yourself and the world.
