Michael Frank and his family do all their own growing, harvesting, and distilling—and produce unique certified organic essential oils from the ground up, literally!
THEIR STORY | Michael Frank, and along with his wife Susan and their daughter Lexi, own and operate Full Moon Farm. Michael graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in plant pathology specializing in Biotechnology. His course study gave him a comprehensive understanding of conventionally grown crops using GMO’s, petroleum based fertilizers, pesticides and herbicides. This understanding also led to his strong belief and support for organically grown foods.
Full Moon Farm is located in Sperryville, Virginia, nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. As Certified Organic farm, they try to be good stewards of the land. The llamas on the farm provide fertilizer use to grow our plants, and the open fields provide the food for the llamas. All our products are processed and packaged on the farm from only plant material that is grown on the farm. Along with essential oils, Full Moon Farm also produces and sells herbal extracts, dried herbs and spices.
