Through this feldenkrais based ABM Transformational Movement Lessons (TMLs), you will become aware of your habitual movement patterns, what is not fully aligned, and where you hold yourself back without meaning to. These movement patterns can be from old injuries, habits you have developed, muscle imbalances for example.
Whether you are an athlete or a coach potato (or somewhere in between),the more clearly you are aware of your movement habits, the more easily you can learn and adopt new patterns of movement. These TMLs innovative guided movement exercises and the Nine Essentials, you create new neural patterns that increase strength, flexibility, self awareness, alignment and vitality. Whether you are in good health or have a limiting diagnosis, the method gives you tools to move in your life with more ease and awareness.
– Yoga mat or similar non skid padding for the lesson
– Willingness to take off shoes and socks
– Comfortable, easy-to-move-in clothing, consider layers of tops for comfort and coverage
