Michael Steeves, The Wellness Project

Michael Steeves has worked as a laborer and framer in the Richmond on new houses and renovations, he has sailed the English Channel in the winter. He has worked upon Super-Yachts in the South of France, Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, more recently Florida and the Bahamas. He has dined with millionaires and has chaperoned their children. He has worked and studied as a Yogi, Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer. He has ridden from RVA to St. Augustine Florida and from Gainesville, FL to NOLA via bicycle with no support. This upcoming year he plans to compete in the first annual TransAmerica Bicycle Race in June and to beat his previous attempt at the National Triathlon Championship in August, even though he greatly dislikes swimming. He meditates daily and would like to share the idea of basic goodness as a practice and his personal thoughts about it.

Beginning with an optional 30 minute meditation we will then explore the premise of resting in our own inherent and basic goodness. After a short talk, the topic will be left open for questions and group discussion.
