Description

Massage therapy is an ancient art that has been practiced for thousands of years across the world. It has been used to heal ailments and enhance lives.This class will show participants how to bring the power of touch home by teaching basic massage techniques that can be done at home, either on the floor or on a bed.  We will learn techniques that can be used to relieve common ailments that we all face. Part one will focus on upper body. We will learn a 15 minute routine for sore neck and shoulders, including gliding, relaxing strokes and stretching. Participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and to wear loose tank tops and loose fitting pants that allow for movement. Massage lotion will be provided.
