Time's Person of the Year 2010

About a week ago Time announced their Person of the Year for 2010. We can’t say we were surprised when we found out it was Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook. With a blockbuster movie, new changes in Facebook and an immense amount of members joining Facebook everyday it seems as though Zuckerberg could eventually take over the world. At only 26 years old, Zuckerberg has created an ever growing empire. “This year, Facebook added its 550 millionth member. One out of every dozen people on the planet has a Facebook account. They speak 75 languages and collectively lavish more than 700 billion minutes on Facebook every month. Last month the site accounted for 1 out of 4 American page views. Its membership is currently growing at a rate of about 700,000 people a day.” Keeping in touch through Facebook has become a daily routine for most people and now businesses – and for that, we would like to thank Mark Zuckerberg for helping us keep connected to our most loyal customers!
