In order to help you celebrate Earth Day we will be sampling Earth Friendly selections at out coffee shop the day before. Come in sample the line then pick up a bottle of your farorite(s) to celebrate the our amazing planet on Earth Day Aprill 22.

Importer Jon-David Headrick specializes in small-production artisanal wines from the Loire Valley , the Vaucluse and grower Champagnes. Jon-David prefers to work with growers using progressive techniques such as organic or biodynamic farming. All of these are estate-bottling properties. Most of the properties in his portfolio are organic /biodynamic or at minimum use sustainable farming procedures and all are harvested by hand.
LE PARADOU, Viognier-100% Viognier from parcels near the town of Apt. It is organic, and shows the dedication that went into its inception. The wine for you if you are looking for a roundness, depth, fruit (apricots, peaches and citrus) and minerality (but no oak).
DOMAINE DE LA FRUITERE, Muscadet de Sèvre et Maine “Petit M”
100% Melon de Bourgogne from 25-50 year old vines planted on mica and schist,made using organic practices.The palate is lively with acidity and minerality, and then you get the crisp apple and peach fruit, and a creamy, smooth but nice and dry finish. Reflecting its maritime environment, this Muscadet is a natural partner for oysters and other shellfish.
MERIEAU, Gamay Touraine “Le Bois Jacou”
100% Gamay from the single vineyard block of 40-60 year old Gamay vines. A perfect, lush example of Mérieau’s “no-holds’barred” approach to wine!
LE PARADOU, Cotes du Luberon
A cuvée of syrah (20%) and grenache (80%) from parcels near the town of Apt. It is 100% organic. The grenache in this cuvée conjures up the deep, dark fruit aromas of areas such as Rasteau and the Cotes du Ventoux while the spicy syrah adds another layer of complexity to this mouth-filling red.
