Ed Trask for Ellwood’s Coffee

Our coffee shop has been open for about two weeks right now, and we hope you’ve noticed the beautiful Ed Trask paintings that hang on the walls and in the bookshelves. Ed is also in the process right now of painting murals for our store on Ellwood Ave. facing brick wall. His emphasis will be based on our philosophy of community, diversity, local farms, and environmental and social consciousness.
We’re so lucky to have Ed ad some character to our building. He’s been such an important part of Richmond’s art and music scene for so long now. We’re also excited to have his work be a part of our new Washington D.C. store as well.

I love Ed Trask’s work. It’s a nice addition to the coffee shop. I especially love the piece of the couple dancing. He really captures the nuance and feeling of moments like that. Are the works for sale?
Thanks,
Mary D. Carter
