Attention all local Richmond and surrounding area musicians:

Ellwood Thompson’s Local Market, Richmond’s small littlesource for tofu, granola, and crucially moist cookies is tired of the corporateplay lists from satellite radio that we play over and over again.

 We’re looking for local musicians in and around Richmondthat are interesting in playing their music over our speakers, and possiblyhaving their music on sale in our store and coffee shop.

 Our customer base is an eclectic mix from all areas of thestate and abroad. Keep in mind we are looking for music suitable to play in agrocery store/market environment. Genres that pop into our heads are bluegrass, reggae, folk, rock, blues, world, jam band, jazz, funk, ska, and vocal.
