Here at Ellwood Thompson’s we have a position called “General Services”.  This position is the person that does the ongoing touch ups.  You have heard the saying “clean up on aisle 4″, that is general services.  Our general services position does everything from water plants to pick up trash in the parking lot.  It takes someone who has an eye for detail, an ability to manage their own time and someone who really cares.I was walking into work this morning with our new general services steward and was asking how he was getting along in his new job.  He said that he liked his job and liked working here and then paused for a moment and said “Even picking up the trash matters, it is important for the store and the world”.  You are so right Tommy!This is the kind of qualification that is not readily visible on an application or resume.  This is the person we strive to hire and are so grateful they have chosen us.  If you, or anyone you know, have qualifications like this please visit our website and apply.  We will also be hiring soon for the coffee shop.  Not only is Ellwood Thompson’s an exciting place to work with interesting people - we have a great benefits program!  Come check us out.
