We are a group of people that are constantly searching for the best local product, tending to our own gardens, recycling, volunteering, riding our bikes, sampling chocolates and spirits, playing in the river, and well…having fun. Current Job Openings

Full Time Nourish (Health and Beauty) Steward:

Ellwood Thompson’s is looking for a full time person in our Nourish Dept. Our perfect candidate will have passion and knowledge regarding supplements, body care, herbs and herbal remedies, homeopathic remedies etc.

Basic Requirements of the position are:

-Extensive knowledge of supplements, vitamins, body care, and how each interacts and affects the body.

-Previous experience in specialized customer service/sales/retail and a strong understanding of going the extra mile for our customers.

-Open availability.

-The ability to multi-task, answer customer questions, phone calls, take special orders in a busy environment.

-A genuine desire to help people and an outgoing personality.

-Previous experience negotiating with vendors, managing vendor relationships a plus.

-Formal training in the areas of nutrition, herbal medicine etc., a plus.

Part Time Essentials (Grocery) Steward:

Ellwood Thompson’s is looking to add to our dynamic grocery team. We currently have one p art time position in our Essentials Department. We are looking for someone with a great work ethic, excellent customer service skills, familiarity with specialty diets, a general knowledge of organic products and an appreciation for the benefits of managing health through nutrition.
We are looking for afternoon/evening availability (2pm – close) , attention to detail, punctuality, an ability to maintain a high production level without being micro managed and a pride in delivering outstanding customer service. Applicants should be able to lift up to 50lbs, be able to multi-task and have a passion for clear and orderly work areas.

Full Time Deli Counter Steward:

We’re looking for an outgoing and energetic person to serve as a counter staff member at our deli. This fast-paced and fun environment requires attention to detail, specialty diets, outstanding customer service and hands on learning. Person’s applying for this position should have previous food industry or service experience (though not necessary, it’s always a plus.) This position comes with great benefits

Fill it out here in the store or at home, it’s up to you, but take some time on it. If you have a resume, go ahead and attach it, we’d love to see that too. When you’re done simply give it back to the Manager on Duty or anyone at the Customer Service Desk.
