Art 180 - ART 180 creates and provides art-related programs for young people living in challenging circumstances, encouraging personal and community change through self-expression. It gives young people the chance to express themselves through art, and to share their stories with others. Their work with young people turns lives and communities around 180 degrees. Books on Wheels – The mission of Books on Wheels is simple – deliver free books, bikes, bike knowledge and love to people and children in need. Books on Wheels is a Richmond, Virginia based 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization that provides free books and free bicycle repair. As a mobile operation, Books on Wheels is able to travel to many different communities in Richmond and around the country to provide our services. Their services are available to anyone and everyone, yet we do have a concentration in working with at-risk youth in low-income neighborhoods.

Books on Wheels is dedicated to promoting literacy and maintaining healthy, active lifestyles, while providing much need resources to our communities that lack access to free books and bicycle education. Through literature and bicycle education Books on Wheels works to provide empowering tools that they can use within their communities. In concentrating in working with youth, Books on Wheels strives to encourage young people to read and to learn skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. Advanced Wellness Centre - At the Richmond Advanced Wellness Centre, a world of health resides under one roof, literally. Their 10,000 square foot facility holds a unique multidisciplinary approach to wellness offering: Fitness, Nutrition, Chiropractic Care, Physical Therapy, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy and Hypnotherapy. The Neighborhood Resource Center – The NRC is located in Richmond’s Fulton Hill and has been apart of that growing community since 2002. The NRC strengthens individuals and communities by providing opportunities for neighbors to build relationships, access resources, and develop the skills to enhance their lives and determine the fate of the community. Ring Dog Rescue – Ring Dog Rescue is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit and is Richmond’s premiere organization for Pit Bull Rescuing and Pit Bull awareness in the city. Tricycle Gardens – The founders of Richmond’s Tricycle Gardens believed community gardens and the simple act of growing food were the fastest ways to improve the health of their community–both for the residents and the environment. The non-profit’s mission is to grow healthy food, healthy communities and a healthy economy. In 2008 we partnered with the group and the City of Richmond to build the Humphrey Calder Community garden located just blocks from our store at the corner of Patterson Ave. & Thompson St. Come check it out! Farm 2 Family – A few years ago, Mark & Suzie-Miles Lilly got an old school bus and started to  help connect local farms with families in the hopes to re-establish a personal relationship with locally grown food and to encourage a local diet of fresh grown products here in central VA.  There is a huge disconnect with our food and the origination of it, globally and nationally.  Most modern methods of food distribution can involve thousands of miles before it reaches a plate. Helping Hands Veterinary Clinic – The wonderful people over at Helping Hands have one mission: to provide high quality surgical and dental care to your pet at affordable needs. They can achieve their mission by limiting the scope of services to surgery and dental care only, cutting out office visit / consultation time and fees in order to put all efforts into treating your pet.
