If there’s one thing that we’re truly passionate about here at Ellwoods, it’s food. If there’s another, it’s our community and the fact that you don’t have to be reliant on a car for transportation in this city.
We love the city of Richmond and because we’re located in a city, we love all the various ways that you can get to our store besides driving. We’re lucky to have a great city bus system, plenty of small, local bike shops, scooter repair garages and a city laced with sidewalks. Thus we also like to reward you for using these available methods.
In 2008 we decided that it was time to truly recognize those individuals that arrived to our store using environmentally friendly methods. We call it our Envirocredit and it’s simple. If you get to our store by either walking, riding a bike, taking the bus, skateboarding, rollerblading, skipping, walking on your hands, running, hopscotching or even riding a horse, we’ll take 25 cents off your purchase, simple as that.
